Our minds are conditioned to move away from what is actually happening and ping pong between reliving the past and anticipating the future. Becoming aware of what is right in front of you - the NOW - and learning to stay put is unfamiliar territory for most of us. It can feel uncomfortable and let's face it, a little boring. But in my experience a spark of curiosity, a willingness to begin right where you are and a lot of gentleness with yourself goes a long way.

MEDITATION
MENTORING
Private Sessions, 60 min
As a meditation mentor my intention is to help you grow awareness and live more consciously. Sounds lovely, but what does that actually mean?
I will support you in creating quiet space and learning to bring attention to your inner landscape - the stream of thoughts, feelings, habits, beliefs and reactions that are narrating each moment of your life. We will work together to create a practice that is realistic for you, using the material of your life as a framework to wake up and live more fully.
Each session is tailored to you, but will likely include a guided meditation with breath and body awareness, a discussion of what is currently unfolding in your life, and an intentional way for you to practice moving forward.

Meditation mentoring is for anyone seeking individual guidance, accountability and a safe space for inner exploration.

MEDITATION
GROUP
Group Sessions, 60 min
The meditation study group is an immersion into the inner self that is composed of two parts. The first is the seated practice of meditation - learning to sit in stillness and allowing each moment to unfold just as it is. The second component of the group is exploring the nature of the mind by looking at thoughts, habits, beliefs and reactions.
Each week an intention is provided, as well as an assigned reading to support this exploration. The group begins with a 20-30 minute guided meditation and then students are given the opportunity to share their experiences as they relate to the weekly assignment. The group supports each other through holding space, listening, sharing and collectively waking up to our shared humanity. It is ideal for those looking for connection, community and a safe space for inner exploration. Limited to 10 students.
